World Superbike Assen 2010 - TTE was there

An incredible World Superbike day at the TT circuit in Assen last Sunday and TTE was there. On April 25th we took off to Assen on a pleasant trip with all TTE employees. The weather was nice, we had a lot of fun but the main reason was to get close to our customers.

As our main office is located in Rotterdam, we had a two hour drive ahead. We met in the office on Sunday morning at 7 am. Although some members were not fully awake yet, we took off full of enthusiasm and excitement.  With two vans packed with food, people and music, we arrived safely at the sunny TT Circuit together with thousands of other motorsport fans.

With our orange jackets, that were impossible to miss when you were there, we supported the 22 drivers of the World Superbike Championship. Our seats at the Geert Timmer / Main stand gave us the opportunity to see these drivers live in action. All stands were crowded with cheering fans from mainly Holland, Germany and Great Britain. The 2010 race at Assen was the most successful in its history. Over 78.000 spectators witnessed the rookies fighting their Dutch battle. Comparing to 2008 with 36.000 spectators and 2009 with 30.000 spectators, the promoters of this event did a better job than ever.

Since the founding in 2009, The Ticket Enterprise is aiming for a yearly “race outing” with all employees. This year we decided to stay in our own country to witness the World Superbike of Assen. By visiting a racing event, we want our employees to feel the energy and excitement at the track. We want them to experience that we do not just sell tickets, but that we sell sensation, fun, an outing of a lifetime. Even though you do not like racing at all, you cannot ignore the rush when hearing the roaring bikes, seeing the beautiful pit babes and smelling hot tyres. This outing helped our Sales and Support team significantly in offering high quality service.

Besides a great experience and a lot of fun, a trip like this is an easy way to meet our customers and to investigate our target group. Nothing is more motivating than seeing your customers at the stand cheering for their favorite rider. We are proud that we were able to serve so many happy Superbike fans.
