My name is Michael. I’m from 1966. Born and raised in Den Helder. In my younger years I did MAVO, shortly after that I started working at different jobs.

Around 1996 I decided to move to Rotterdam because of the job opportunities in this region. Very quickly I found a job at Zadkine where I started my IT career. Zadkine is a major educational institute with several locations throughout the region. My main responsibilities were keeping everything up and running in the datacenter .

After a couple of years I had the opportunity to start at Centric IT Solution in Gouda. I made this move because I could get more exposure to new technologies. I quickly got familiar with the technologies of Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare and some Linux. I got certified for all of them, only Linux I’m an autodidact.

In 2008 I became father of a healthy son, Rickey is his name. Because I wanted to be a part of his live I chose to work closer to home. So I started looking around and found The Ticket Enterprise where I started in January 2010 as System / Network engineer.

My work is my hobby but besides working I like to go to the movies if I have the time. I spend a lot of time with my son going to the children’s farm, the playground or reading bedtime stories.
